Links your perch to the actuator arm on the engine casing. Built to Kawasaki OEM 54011-0040 dimensions, so it lands as a drop-in on the KX 125 M. A heavy, dragging lever usually means the inner wire is binding in the housing or the barrel ends are starting to fray. Swap it and the pull comes back light and predictable. Route the new line along the factory path so it stays off the exhaust and clear of kinks at full lock. Set your free-play at the perch after the first ride, once the cable has bedded in.
