What it is

The MOTION PRO CLUTCH CABLE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This clutch cable links your perch to the actuator arm on the engine casing. It replaces OEM part 22870-MEY-670 with exact dimensions for a drop-in fit. Cables eventually stretch or fray at the barrel ends from repeated use and grit ingress. A heavy lever pull usually signals the inner wire is binding within the housing. Replace it to restore a light, predictable feel at the lever. Route the new line along the factory path to avoid exhaust heat and kinking at full lock. Check your free-play adjustment at the perch after the first ride.
