A clutch cable carries your lever pull down to the release arm on the casing, and it lives a hard life behind the number plate where grit and water get in. Once the inner wire dries out or starts shedding strands at the barrel, the pull turns heavy and the bite point wanders. This Motion Pro coil-wound cable cross-references the 54011-0095 OEM number for the KX 450 F. Route it along the original line so it doesn't bind at full lock, and grease the inner before you fit it.
