This clutch cable links the handlebar lever to the actuation arm on the engine case. It replaces OEM part 4EX-26335-00-00. Constant use causes the inner wire to stretch and the outer conduit to compress, resulting in a vague biting point. Inspect the ends for fraying near the barrel nipples during routine maintenance. Route the cable along the frame following the original path to prevent binding when turning the bars to full lock. A well-lubricated cable reduces hand fatigue during long enduro events and provides better feedback through the lever.
