Motion Pro clutch cable to fit Suzuki DR-Z400 (2001–2004); Suzuki DR-Z400E (2000–2007); Suzuki DR-Z400S (2000–2009, 2011–2024); Suzuki DR-Z400SM (2005–2009, 2013–2024).
This cable connects your handlebar lever to the clutch release arm on the motor. It is a direct replacement for OEM part 58200-29F10. Off-road riding subjects cables to vibration and debris, which eventually compromises the inner wire and housing. Replacing a dragging cable restores the light, consistent pull required for technical trail sections. Route the cable carefully behind the front number plate to avoid pinching. Adjust the tension at the perch to allow for a small amount of free play, ensuring the clutch fully engages and disengages.
