What it is

Motion Pro replacement clutch cable to fit the Yamaha YZ250, model years 1999–2003, and Yamaha YZ250F, model years 2001–2003.

This cable links your clutch lever to the release arm on the engine. It is a direct replacement for OEM part 5HC-26335-10-00. Friction builds up inside the housing over time, leading to hand fatigue and poor clutch modulation. Replacing the cable restores the light, smooth action required for aggressive MX starts and technical trail riding. Route the cable carefully through the frame to avoid contact with the hot cylinder head. Adjust the free play at the lever to ensure the clutch plates fully separate and engage correctly.
