What it is

The MOTION PRO CLUTCH CABLE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A clutch cable for the Honda CRF 250 R, CRF 250 X and CRF 450 R, cross-referencing OEM 22870-KSC-770. It carries your lever pull to the actuator arm on the cases. The inner wire stretches with use, and the outer sleeve can melt where it strays near the header, which is when the pull goes heavy and vague. A fresh cable brings back a light, repeatable bite point for tight, technical sections. Feed it through the factory guides so it never binds, and lube the inner wire now and then to see out a long season.
