What it is

The MOTION PRO CLUTCH CABLE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This cable transfers your lever input to the clutch actuator arm on the engine casing. It is a direct replacement for Honda OEM part 22870-KSC-770. Over time, the inner wire stretches and the outer sleeve can melt if it contacts the exhaust header, leading to a heavy or inconsistent pull. A fresh cable restores the light, predictable feel needed for technical riding. Route the cable carefully through the factory guides to avoid binding. Regular lubrication of the inner wire will extend service life and maintain smooth operation in all conditions.
