Throttle cable cut for the big-bore four-strokes: the KTM EXC-F 500 and the Husqvarna FE 450 and FE 501. The inner wire carries every input from the grip to the throttle body, and once dirt works into the housing the pull goes heavy and the return drags. Replace it before that happens. Feed the housing along the original path so it clears the exhaust and stays slack at full steering lock. Seat both ends fully, set the free-play, and confirm a crisp snap-back before the bike fires. A standard enduro service item.
