What it is

Motion Pro throttle cable to fit Kawasaki KLT185 (1986); Kawasaki KX 80 17/14 (1994–2000); Kawasaki KX 80 19/16 (1994–2000); Kawasaki KX 85 17/14 (2001–2006); Kawasaki KX 85 I 17/14 (2007–2012); Kawasaki KX 85 II 19/16 (2007–2012); Kawasaki KX100 (1995–2009, 2011–2013); Suzuki RM100 (2003).

This throttle cable is a direct replacement for OEM parts 54012-0096 and 54012-1565. It ensures the link between your right hand and the engine remains precise. Environmental exposure and high-frequency vibrations eventually fatigue the inner wire. If the throttle feels heavy or fails to snap back instantly, the cable requires replacement. Route the new cable through the frame guides to avoid interference with the fuel tank or triple clamps. Lubricate the cable regularly to prevent moisture from causing internal corrosion and binding during cold-weather rides.
