This throttle cable connects the twist grip to the engine's induction system. It is a direct replacement for OEM parts 5JG-26302-00-00, 5JG-26302-50-00, and 5SF-26302-00-00. A worn cable can lead to a heavy throttle or, in worse cases, a sticking open position. Replacing the unit ensures a crisp, light response when exiting corners. Route the cable carefully through the frame to avoid binding when the handlebars are turned. Always check for full throttle opening and complete closing before starting the engine after a replacement.
