This O-ring press-fit link seals the internal lubrication of your 520 chain. It uses rubber rings to block mud and water from the pins. You must use a chain press tool to seat the side plate to the correct depth. Over-compressing will crush the seals and cause the link to bind. This component is essential for maintaining the integrity of a sealed drivetrain on long enduro loops. It provides a more secure closure than clip-type links for high-horsepower bikes.
