Rebuilding the unit restores the sharp lever feel and retraction needed for racing. Clean the piston bores with fresh brake fluid before assembly. Avoid using sharp tools that could nick the new rubber. This is a model-specific kit designed for precise fitment within the caliper body. Regular overhauls prevent the pistons from seizing during high-temperature use on track or in heavy mud.
