The 3.4 N/mm rate suits an 85cc rider pushing harder lines and bigger jumps, where a softer spring blows through the stroke and packs in the rough. Ohlins wind the wire to a 38.2mm OD and 423mm free length so the kit sits straight in SX 85, TC 85 and MC 85 forks without spacer fiddling. Fit them as a pair, set sag to the rider's weight, and bleed the forks before the next moto.
