Ohlins cut these springs for the 450 four-strokes that hit the hardest. 44.6mm OD, 471mm long, 4.9 N/mm rate, sized for CRF 450 R, KX 450 and RM-Z 450 forks, and stiff enough to hold a 250 four-stroke up when a heavier rider runs sag at the firm end. Drop them in when stock springs pack down mid-moto and the front starts diving on braking bumps. Set sag, bleed the forks, ride. The rate suits aggressive vets and clubmen pushing into the rough on choppy tracks, not loam-only spec.
