What it is

The POLISPORT CLUTCH COVER PROTECTOR BLACK, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts over the clutch cover on the lower right case to take the hits the casing otherwise eats. Rocks kicked up on rutted trails and boot scuff from your right heel both work the thin cast cover until it weeps or cracks. This sits in front of it as the sacrificial layer. Cut to clear the rear brake pedal so it keeps a slim profile and won't foul your action. Uses the factory cover bolts, no drilling. Fits the Yamaha WR 450 F, YZ 450 F and YZ 450 FX. Cheap protection against an expensive split case.
