What it is
The POLISPORT AIRBOX COVER BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
The airbox cover seals the intake against mud, water and roost while keeping airflow to the filter clean. It lives on the side of the subframe, right in the firing line of your boot, so the original tends to crack, warp or work loose over time. A split cover breaks the seal around the filter and lets grit past it. This one uses the factory mounting points and matches OEM dimensions for a flush fit against the side panel. Bolts straight on. Wipe the mating faces down before fitting so the new cover seats dust-tight across the KTM SX, SX-F, EXC and XC platform.
