Bolts over the upper frame rails on the CRF 250 R, 250 RX and 450 R from 2018 onward, where boot scuff polishes the aluminium spars and leaves them looking second-hand by the third meeting. Textured face gives your boots something to bite into when you weight the outside peg through a rut. Sits clear of the rear brake reservoir and the shock linkage pivot. Bolts to the OEM tapped points, no zip-ties, no fudging. Fit them once during the rebuild and forget. When the texture wears smooth, swap them rather than letting the frame take the hit.
