What it is

The POLISPORT FRAMEGUARD CRF250 18- RD, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Bolts to the CRF250R, CRF250RX and CRF450R frame above the footpegs, where boot heels chew the powder coat off the spars within a season. The moulded texture gives the inside of your boots something to bite into when you're gripping the bike through ruts and off-camber lines. Fits 2018-on Honda chassis only — the spar profile changed at that model year, so don't try to force an older guard onto a newer frame. Mounts on the OEM bosses, no zip ties needed. Saves the aluminium underneath and saves resale value when it's time to move the bike on.
