What it is

The POLISPORT IGNITION COVER FOR GASGAS RED, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Polisport's ignition cover clamps over the left-side casing to take the hit your stator otherwise would. Rock strikes, log rub and trail-side lay-downs land on plastic instead of the magneto cover. It bolts on over the OEM cover using the original holes, so fitting is a five-minute job with no machining. Cut for the GasGas EC and XC 250/300 two-stroke cases, including the E4 and Racing variants, plus the related KTM 300 platform. Slim enough that it stays clear of your boot and shifter. Cheap insurance against a crack that ends the ride.
