What it is

The POLISPORT IGNITION COVER PROTECTOR BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Black ignition cover protector for the KTM and Husqvarna enduro four-strokes. It bolts over the left-case cover on its existing holes and stands between your stator housing and whatever the trail throws at it. Fits KTM EXC 450 and EXC 500, and Husqvarna FE 450, FE 501 and 501 S. Same job as the grey version, plain black shell for riders who want the guard to disappear into the engine line. Clean the cover face first. Grit caught behind the guard scores the alloy you are trying to protect.
