What it is

The POLISPORT IGNITION COVER PROTECTOR FOR KTM/HUSQVARNA BLACK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A moulded guard that caps the ignition cover on the left case of KTM and Husqvarna four-strokes. Covers the EXC 250/300, TE 250/300, XC 250/300 and Freeride 250 R. Boot heels scuff through the cover finish over a season; this takes that wear and shrugs off rock strikes instead. The low profile keeps your foot where it sits and stays clear of the shift lever. It shares the existing cover bolts, so fitting is quick. Wipe the mating face clean first so trapped grit cannot score the case underneath.
