What it is

The POLISPORT IGNITION CV CRF250 18- GR, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The CRF250 carries its ignition cover on the left, exposed to roost, rut walls and boot contact. Honda's cover is alloy and not cheap to replace once it splits. This grey Polisport guard takes the strike first, spreading the load across the case rather than letting it punch through to the flywheel side. Fits the CRF 250 R and CRF 250 RX from 2018 on, using the factory bolt pattern for a flush sit. Degrease the cover before you fit it so trapped grit doesn't work away at the finish underneath.
