Bolts straight over the factory ignition cover on the 2023-on 450 four-stroke platform, the FC 450, FX 450, SMR 450 and SX-F 450. The stator side sits low and takes the hit in a low-side or a dropped bike on rock. This guard is the sacrificial layer: it eats the scratches and punctures so the magnesium casing underneath stays sealed. Slim enough that it won't snag a boot. Heat-tolerant where it counts. Cheap insurance against a cracked cover and a roadside oil leak miles from the van.
