Bolts over the left-side ignition cover, the casing that meets the rock or the brake pedal when the bike goes down. Fits the Gas Gas and Husqvarna 250/350 fours from the 23-on platform. Mounts to the existing bolt holes and stays clear of the gear lever and your boot, so shifting feels normal. The textured face takes boot scuff and impact instead of the casing, keeping a small tip-over from turning into a split case and a workshop bill. A preventative part: cheap now, far cheaper than a magneto-side repair later.
