What it is

The POLISPORT LEVER BRAKE APT YZ/YZF, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A front brake blade for the Nissin master cylinder on the right bar of Yamaha YZ/YZF and Kawasaki KX-F and WR models. The APT composite flexes under a crash load rather than breaking off, which keeps a usable brake after a get-off mid-moto. Shape follows the stock lever, so reach and feel stay where your fingers expect them in the wet or the dry. Fits a wide YZ, KX-F and WR spread across recent years. Fits in minutes on the original pivot bolt. Bleed the brake if the line has been disturbed.
