What it is

This component shields your rear shock and linkage from direct roost and debris. It mounts to the base of the airbox and hangs behind the swingarm pivot on your KXF450. Constant exposure to mud and pressure washing eventually makes the material brittle or causes it to tear at the mounting holes. A damaged part allows grit to accelerate wear on your shock shaft and linkage bearings. This unit uses the original mounting points for a quick swap. It is essential for maintaining the service life of your rear suspension components in UK conditions.
