§ 02 / About this part
What it is
Polisport radiator guards — white to fit the Yamaha YZ250F, model years 2007–2009, and Yamaha YZ450F, model years 2007–2009.
These louvres sit directly in front of your cooling cores to shield the delicate aluminium fins from roost and stone impacts. They are essential for maintaining airflow while preventing debris from flattening the cooling surface. Over time, heat cycles and UV exposure make the plastic brittle, leading to cracks or snapped mounting tabs. These are model-specific components designed to match the OEM fitment and mounting points on your bike. Installation is a direct swap for your factory units. They are a standard requirement for MX and enduro to ensure your engine stays within operating temperature during heavy load.
