What it is

A rear shock flap for the Kawasaki KX 250 F and KX 450 F. It sits behind the airbox and takes the roost the rear wheel fires at the shock and linkage, keeping the shaft clean so the seals last their proper service life. The factory plastic goes hard and tears at the mounting tabs after enough rides and washes. Polisport mould this to OEM dimensions, so it locates on the standard holes and flexes clear of the swingarm under compression. Replace it the moment it splits, not after the grit has already done its work.
