What it is
Polisport rear shock flap in black to fit Yamaha WR250F (2003–2023); Yamaha WR450F (2003–2023); Yamaha YZ125 (2004–2027); Yamaha YZ125X (2020–2027); Yamaha YZ250 (2004–2024); Yamaha YZ250F (2003–2009, 2019–2024); Yamaha YZ250FX (2019–2023); Yamaha YZ250X (2019–2024); Yamaha YZ450F (2003–2009, 2018–2022); Yamaha YZ450FX (2018–2023).
The shock flap fills the gap behind the airbox, keeping roost and trail muck off the rear shock shaft and linkage. A clean shaft is a happy seal; grit dragged across it is what kills one and turns a wet weekend into a service bill. Moulded to OEM spec and bolts to the subframe through the original points. The factory part goes brittle and splits at the mounts after enough mud and pressure washing, so swap it before that happens. Covers the Yamaha YZ, YZ-F, YZ-FX and WR-F range in black.
