What it is
The POLISPORT REAR SHOCK FLAP BLACK, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
The shock flap fills the gap behind the airbox, keeping roost and trail muck off the rear shock shaft and linkage. A clean shaft is a happy seal; grit dragged across it is what kills one and turns a wet weekend into a service bill. Moulded to OEM spec and bolts to the subframe through the original points. The factory part goes brittle and splits at the mounts after enough mud and pressure washing, so swap it before that happens. Covers the Yamaha YZ, YZ-F, YZ-FX and WR-F range in black.
