What it is

The POLISPORT REAR SHOCK FLAP BLUE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Same job as the rest of the range, finished in blue to match the rear plastics. The flap bridges the gap behind the airbox so roost and standing water stay off the shock shaft and linkage. Grit on a wet shaft chews seals, and a shock rebuild costs more than a piece of plastic. Moulded to OEM dimensions, it bolts straight to the subframe through the existing mounts. Worth renewing the moment the old one cracks or tears at the fixings. Fits the Yamaha YZ, YZ-F, YZ-FX and WR-F range.
