What it is

Polisport rear shock flap in blue to fit Yamaha WR250F (2003–2023); Yamaha WR450F (2003–2023); Yamaha YZ125 (2004–2027); Yamaha YZ125X (2020–2027); Yamaha YZ250 (2004–2024); Yamaha YZ250F (2003–2009, 2019–2024); Yamaha YZ250FX (2019–2023); Yamaha YZ250X (2019–2024); Yamaha YZ450F (2003–2009, 2018–2022); Yamaha YZ450FX (2018–2023).

Same job as the rest of the range, finished in blue to match the rear plastics. The flap bridges the gap behind the airbox so roost and standing water stay off the shock shaft and linkage. Grit on a wet shaft chews seals, and a shock rebuild costs more than a piece of plastic. Moulded to OEM dimensions, it bolts straight to the subframe through the existing mounts. Worth renewing the moment the old one cracks or tears at the fixings. Fits the Yamaha YZ, YZ-F, YZ-FX and WR-F range.
