Roost, branch strikes and the odd crash chew up the outer plastic long before the mounts give out, so this lets you refresh the guard without replacing the whole setup. The shields clip onto your existing brackets in a few minutes. The vented profile keeps air moving across your hands and knuckles on a long, hot moto while still turning away stones off the line.
