This is the replacement shield only, for riders already running the MX Force mounting system. It bolts straight onto your existing brackets, so there's no need to buy the full kit again. Handguard plastic takes the worst of the roost and ground contact, and after enough strikes it scuffs, cracks and stops earning its place. A shield swap is a five-minute workshop job that brings back the protection and the look. Confirm your brackets are sound first, and check the shield is the MX Force pattern, since it won't carry over to other mounts. Worth keeping a spare set in the van for mid-meeting damage.
