What it is

The POLISPORT SPROCKET PROTECTOR SXF250 BLACK, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A moulded front sprocket cover for the KTM and Husqvarna 250/350 four-strokes. It caps the countershaft so a thrown or derailed chain takes the guard instead of the engine case. Stones and packed mud get deflected off the drive before they wear into the cases. Fits straight to the existing case bolt holes, no drilling. Black for a stock-look finish. Spans the SX-F, FC, EXC-F, FE and XC-F 250/350 platform. Pull it when you check chain tension and you can eyeball sprocket wear at the same time.
