What it is

The POLISPORT WATERPUMP CVR EXC/TE BK, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This is the black water pump cover for the 250 and 300 two-stroke TPI platform, the KTM EXC 250/300 TPI, Husqvarna TE 250/300i and Gas Gas EC 250/300. The fuel-injected smokers put the pump cover right where rocks find it on tight, rooty enduro ground. Crack the alloy and you lose coolant fast. Polisport's guard sits over the standard cover on the OEM bolt holes and soaks the impacts. It keeps boot wear off the engine finish too. Direct fit, no fettling. Fit it before the first hard ride, not after the first hole.
