What it is

The POLISPORT WATERPUMP CVR EXC/TE OR, plastics & bodywork. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The orange version of the same guard for the 250/300 two-stroke TPI bikes, the KTM EXC 250/300 TPI and SX 250, Husqvarna TE 250/300i and TC 250. The pump cover lives on the lower right case, brittle and easy to split on a rock strike. Lose it and you lose your coolant mid-lap. This Polisport shell bolts over the factory cover on the original mounts and takes the hit for it. It shields the case from boot scuff as well. Straight swap, existing bolts, no modification. Sized to the platform for a tight, flush seal.
