Polisport's moulded guard caps the external water pump cover on the big-bore four-strokes, the FC 450, SX-F 450, FE 450 and EXC-F 450 through 500. The cast OEM cover sits low and exposed on the right case, square in the firing line for kicked-up rocks and roost. One sharp hit cracks it and the coolant goes. This shell bolts straight over the factory cover on the original fasteners and takes the abuse instead. It also stops your boot heel scuffing the case on long enduro days. No machining, no drilling. Cheap insurance against a cooling-circuit DNF.
