A 450 four-stroke front wheel loads up hard — heavy braking into a rutted corner, big landings off step-ups, the lot. Tired front bearings show it first: vague feel through the bars, a notchy spot when you spin the wheel off the stand, sometimes a faint rumble at speed. Pull the wheel, knock the old races out, press these in with proper drifts, repack and torque the spindle to spec. Job done for another race season. Pack a spare set in the van if you ride sand.
