What it is

The PROX CLUTCH BASKET ALUMINIUM RM250, clutch. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This unit manages the power delivery on your 250 two-stroke. It is located on the right side of the crankcase. The aggressive hit of a 250 often causes the friction plates to groove the stock housing fingers. This results in a notched lever feel and poor modulation. This machined replacement is built to tighter tolerances than OEM. You will need to transfer the primary drive gear to this unit. Use high-strength thread locker on all fasteners. It is a necessary fix for any bike showing signs of drive-train drag.
