The RM 250 is a proper two-stroke weapon. Light, snappy, mean off the bottom when you keep the top end fresh. Skip rebuilds and you'll feel it go soft fast. Pull the head every 30-40 hours, check the power valve for carbon, and don't ignore the linkage. UK slop chews swingarm pivots and linkage bearings quicker than anything else on this bike. Grease them or replace them.
