What it is
The PROX CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REBUILD KIT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Seal-and-piston kit for the lever master cylinder on the earlier KTM and Husaberg hydraulic-clutch bikes, spanning EXC 125 through 525, the SX 105 and 125, FC 450 and the FE and FS four-stroke range. Heat and friction chew the rubber cups, pressure bleeds off, and the lever travels to the bar without lifting the plates. The kit returns the bore to a sealed, factory-spec assembly so engagement sharpens up. Check the bore for wear before fitting and treat any scoring as a reason to replace the cylinder. Use only the fluid grade specified on the reservoir cap.
