This set restores drive by replacing worn friction plates, steels, and springs. Over time, heat cycles warp the steel plates and friction material thins, leading to clutch slip under load. These components sit within the clutch basket and are essential for crisp power delivery. This kit matches OEM specifications for a direct drop-in fitment. Always soak your new friction plates in fresh oil for at least two hours before installation to prevent premature burning. Check your clutch basket for grooving while the casing is off. If the basket is notched, new plates will still drag.
