This titanium intake valve is designed for high-revving race engines where reciprocating mass is critical. It sits in the top-end and controls the fuel-air mixture entering the cylinder. Titanium valves are prone to cupping over time, which affects starting and power delivery. This component provides a direct replacement for your worn OEM valve. Do not lap titanium valves, as this removes the hardened coating. Ensure your valve seats are in good condition and guides are within tolerance. Always fit new stem seals and check spring tension during the rebuild process.
