A 22mm standard-diameter bar with a crossbrace, sized for older clamps and trials setups that never went oversized. The brace adds stiffness across the centre; the shot-peened finish lifts fatigue life under hard use. The 809 is a lower, flatter bend for a neutral, planted cockpit. Most riders switch bars to dial in sweep and height rather than chase strength. Measure your clamp diameter before ordering, since 22mm and 28.6mm mounts do not mix. Bin any bar showing a bend after a crash. A wipe of contact cleaner helps fresh grips slide on.
