Renthal's Apex 35 uses a 240-degree twin-bolt clamp that spreads load around the bar instead of pinching it at two points, so the 35mm tube sits without stress risers. Cut from 7075-T6 aluminium for a high strength-to-weight ratio under aggressive trail and race use. The 35mm bore is specific to oversized bars and will not take a 28.6mm fat bar. Torque the faceplate bolts in sequence with a wrench to spec, never by feel, or you risk crushing the bar wall. The result is a rigid, flex-free link from your hands to the front wheel.
