Cheap insurance for your sternum. The pad clamps over the crossbrace on any 7/8" bar and takes the hit when your chest meets the bars on a hard landing or a stalled face-plant. Injection-moulded foam under a vinyl skin that shrugs off mud, grit and the pressure washer. The velcro wrap pulls tight so it stays centred instead of spinning to one side mid-moto. When the foam stops bouncing back or the cover splits, bin it and fit a fresh one. Standard kit on a standard bar.
