The 831 bend is cut for junior ergonomics on 85s, so the reach and rise suit a smaller rider. These are oversized 28.6mm bars in a braceless layout, fitting the SX 85, TC 85, MC 85 and the rest of the small-bore class. The fat clamping section means your triple clamps must take a 1-1/8 inch bar; on standard 22mm clamps you will need conversion mounts. Controlled flex keeps vibration off the hands through a long moto. The finish is shot-peened to lift fatigue life. Swap them out after a real impact or if you spot any hairline cracking at the clamp.
