What it is

The 839 is Renthal's neutral, balanced Fatbar bend, close to the stock profile on a lot of Japanese race bikes, so it's an easy like-for-like upgrade. Tapered 28.6mm aluminium, braceless, soaking up trail and track shock the way a single-wall bar can't. Drops into oversized 28.6mm mounts. Set your clutch and brake perches tight enough to hold but not so hard they gouge the wall. Replace the bar after any heavy impact or if the controls won't sit square again. Purple anodised, a clean look for a rebuilt cockpit.
