Built for fatbars that run without a crossbar, so it clamps straight over the bar mounts and bridges the bare centre section. The high-density foam soaks up a chest or helmet hit; the injection-moulded vinyl shell resists tearing and won't fade in the sun. It locks on 28.6mm bars with a Velcro closure that strips off fast for clamp adjustments or fork work. Once the foam packs down or debris breaches the cover, swap it. Cheap protection for the one part of the bar that meets your sternum.
