Renthal's medium compound sits in the middle of their grip range. It damps vibration without going soft and vague, and it holds up to far more rides than the soft version before the thumb area and outer edges start to round off. Fits standard 7/8 inch bars. Glue it on, and clean every trace of old adhesive off the throttle tube first or the new grip will spin. A sensible default for riders who want feel and feedback in equal measure and don't want to be swapping grips every weekend.
