The mini-sized bar pad for 7/8" crossbars on small-capacity bikes, shaped short so it sits clean without fouling controls or cable runs. High-density foam cushions the rider's chest and face in a front-end stack, the one job a pad has to do. The velcro wrap pulls off in seconds for a proper bar clean, then back on. Mud and the jet wash are the enemy here; over a season the vinyl cracks and the foam loses its shape. Once it stops springing back, it has stopped protecting. Replace it and move on.
